About the Journal

The Al-Quran and Contemporary Issues Journal is an international scientific journal which is verified and published by the Penerbit Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), Malaysia.

This journal is dedicated to research on every aspect related to al-Quran and al-Qiraat. Special attention is given to paperwork pertaining to history of al-Quran and al-Qiraat, contemporary issues of al-Quran and al-Qiraat; Tahfiz and education and  Qiraat culture; scholars of al-Quran and al-Qiraat as well as ethical issues related to scientific research.

This journal is committed to publish original research on the al-Quran as a guide to life. It welcomes interdisciplinary efforts that merge history, religion and Islamic education. The journal focuses on Islam and contemporary Islamic issues. Contributions that highlight theoretical strengths, especially those which combine the specificity of Islamic discourse with knowledge efforts and criticism in the Quranic fields can emerge in Qiraat: The Al-Quran and Contemporary Issues Journal as an application.

All submitted articles could be in the Arabic, English or Malay languages.

مجلة القراءات: مجلة القرآن والقضايا المعاصرة هي مجلة علمية دولية تمت مراجعتها ونشرها من قبل قسم تحفيظ القرآن والقراءات ، كلية دراسات الحضارة الإسلامية, الجامعية الإسلامية بسلانجور (UIS) ، ماليزيا. هذه المجلة مخصّصة للدراسة العلمية في جميع الجوانب المتعلقة بالقرآن والقراءات.

يتم إيلاء اهتمام خاص للأوراق المتعلقة بالتاريخ والعلوم السياسية والاقتصاد والأنثروبولوجيا وعلم الاجتماع والقانون والأدب والدين والفلسفة والعلاقات الدولية والبيئة والتنمية، فضلاً عن الأسئلة الأخلاقية المتعلقة بالبحث العلمي. تلتزم هذه المجلة بنشر بحث أصلي عن القرآن كدليل للحياة.

ترحب بالعمل متعدد التخصصات الذي يوحّد التاريخ والدين والسياسة والثقافة والقانون. تركز هذه المجلة بشكل خاص على الإسلام والقضايا الإسلامية المعاصرة. مساهمات تدل على صلابة النظرية؛ خاصة الأوراق التي تربط خصوصية الخطاب الإسلامي في مشروع المعرفة والنقد في مجال القرآن.

يجب تقديم جميع المقالات إما باللغة العربية أو الإنجليزية أو الملايوية.
